Air Canada announces soft product upgrades

Air Canada is hoping to improve its premium customer experience by introducing a range of enhancements to its in-flight soft product offerings across all cabins, lounges, and ground services.

Pre-departure beverages will return to the premium cabin in November, with a pre-meal hot towel service and a coat and jacket hanging service. International Signature passengers – formerly known as International Business Class – will receive classy new Aqua di Parma amenity bags featuring the brand's skincare products, dental products, socks, earplugs and an eye mask, all contained within a high-end designer amenities bag.

This month will also see passengers in Premier Rouge – Premium Economy – for the first time receiving complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi on select flights, with all aircraft receiving the service in 2023. Also, from 2023, all passengers will see 25 per cent more in-flight entertainment options, including Live TV for up-to-the-minute news and sports, Bluetooth audio connectivity and outside cameras.

On the ground, many of the airline's Maple Leaf Lounges in North America will receive elevated beverage upgrades with a celebration of Canadian wines – seeing each lounge expanding to six carefully selected wines plus sparkling and seasonal rosé wine offerings. All Maple Leaf Lounges at the airline's hubs will resume the full buffet service with an increased range of salads, international cuisine and classic local dishes. Super Elite and Business Class travellers in select Maple Leaf lounges can now take advantage of priority access lanes during peak times.
