Air Canada has relocated its operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport.
This move solidifies the partnership between Air Canada and Emirates. This relocation is expected to enhance the overall travel experience for passengers transiting in Dubai, as they can now conveniently remain in the same terminal.
Air Canada's Signature Class passengers will have dedicated check-in and bag drop counters in the Business Class and First Class drop-off area, while Premium Economy check-in will be available at the main entrance.
Air Canada Signature Class customers and eligible Aeroplan Elite members will gain access to Emirates' signature Business Class lounge situated in Terminal 3.
Since November 2022, the two airlines have strengthened their codeshare relationship to cover 42 routes, improved their interline agreement, established a reciprocal loyalty partnership allowing customers to earn and redeem points, fostered cooperation between their Cargo businesses, and increased capacity into their respective hubs. Air Canada also has a partnership with Emirates' sister airline, flydubai.
Emirates has started a daily Boeing 777 service between Montreal and Dubai in July, while Air Canada plans to commence new non-stop four-times-weekly flights between Dubai and Vancouver in October.
