Alaska Airlines is enhancing its onboard dining experience with the return of hot meals to the inflight retail menu in the Main Cabin. The airline boasts an “industry-leading pre-order program” - which offers more meal choices than any other U.S. airline.
Premium Class passengers on most flights over 1,100 miles can select from up to five chef-curated dishes, including at least one hot meal option. These hot meals, along with freshly prepared offerings like the Signature Fruit & Cheese Platter, are exclusively available for pre-order purchase.
In recent months, the airline's Food & Beverage Teams have been working with employees to taste-test all the cuisine that would be served inflight.
