BA celebrates Diwali and Thanksgiving with treats!

British Airways is ecelebrating Diwali (12th November) and Thanksgiving (23rd November) with special menus.  For Diwali, it's delightful desserts and Thanksgiving, a feast complete with classic roast turkey and pumpkin pie.

The airline will also be presenting an array of unique confections and custom-made culinary delights in its lounges at Heathrow Airport.

On 12th November, passengers on both outbound and inbound long-haul flights to India will enjoy festive desserts across all classes (from London Heathrow to Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi).

Thanksgiving treats

Club World passengers flying from London Heathrow to India can savour Rasmalai, a beloved Eastern Indian sweet treat.

Those in World Traveller Plus can indulge in Kesar Peda, a classic North Indian confection.

Diwali-themed desserts such as Kaju Pista or Gulab Jamun with Rabdi will delight passengers returning from India in Club World. Meanwhile, World Traveller Plus travelers can choose from Khoye Ka Laddoo or Doodhi Halwa, adorned with traditional dried fruits.

Meanwhile, Thanksgiving will be celebrated across all long-haul flights to and from the US on 23rd November. All classes will be presented with holiday main courses and desserts.

First and Club World customers can expect a traditional turkey dinner followed by pumpkin pie, pumpkin and walnut cake, or pumpkin cheesecake.

Passengers in World Traveller Plus will also enjoy a turkey roast and a dessert choice of pumpkin pie, gingerbread mousse, or spiced pumpkin and white chocolate mousse.

In First Class, it's very special!

Special treats to commemorate Diwali and Thanksgiving will be available in all lounges at London Heathrow, featuring festive decorations, from 12 - 15th November. The Concorde Room will offer dishes including pumpkin and butternut squash soup and pecan pie for Thanksgiving on 23rd November.
