British Airways has officially unveiled its exclusive Whispering Angel rosé bar at Terminal 5B, London Heathrow.
The bar is located in the airline's lounge and has been launched in time for the peak summer travel season.
This marks a significant achievement for British Airways as the first airline to feature a dedicated Whispering Angel bar, providing customers with an opportunity to savour the rosé from Château d’Esclans's vineyards in Provence before they jet off.
The debut of this unique bar represents the first stage of British Airways’ extensive renovation of the lounge, a process that will continue throughout the summer and will include the addition of new furniture, reupholstery, and a fresh layout.
The airline's Club (Business Class) lounges at Heathrow and Gatwick are also treating eligible customers to The Pale rosé, produced by the same winemakers as Whispering Angel. The Whispering Angel rosé is presently served in the British Airways’ Concorde, First, and Club lounges.
British Airways has added Rock Angel, a sister wine to Whispering Angel, to its First Class cabin wine list. This rosé has a bit more body than its sibling. The Rock Angel is available in First Class cabins for three months.
Customers on short-haul flights also have the option to pre-purchase Whispering Angel’s Provence rosé through the High Life Café, the airline’s newly rebranded inflight service, formerly known as the Speedbird Café (launching on 20th July).
