Swiss International Air Lines and Swiss watch manufacturer Breitling have been official onboard partners since 2016. In a joint move coinciding with Breitling’s 70th anniversary and SWISS’s 20th anniversary, the two have collaborated to offer SWISS customers on selected long-haul flights the chance to own a limited-edition Breitling Navitimer B01, with the collection limited to only 700 pieces.
The new Navitimer B01, SWISS Limited Edition wristwatch, incorporates many of the classic design details of the original and iconic Navitimer chronograph pilot watch first launched in 1952 – worn by astronauts and the frequent choice of notable celebrities – but will incorporate its own unique design touches.
The new timepiece will feature a small aircraft on the central second hand. While accents of the trademark SWISS scarlet hue enhance the sleek anthracite dial and black chronographic counters.
The reverse of the watch sees an engraved SWISS logo along with the words “ONE OF 700” to authenticate the timepiece’s exclusivity. And an intricate design on the open caseback is based on the turbine engine of a Boeing 777-300ER. The refined Breitling mechanical movement boasts an impressive power reserve of over 70 hours.
