Cyprus Airways has announced that its providing a wireless in-flight entertainment system for its Airbus aircraft. The airline - which is expanding its fleet and routes to bolster tourism in Cyprus - is integrating AirFi's portable streaming technology into its current lineup of two A320 and two A220 planes. It also plans to equip any additional aircraft with the same system shortly.
Passengers aboard Cyprus Airways will soon enjoy a vast array of digital entertainment options on their own devices, such as films, television shows, games, music, a live moving map, and videos about various destinations. Each plane will offers seamless content delivery. The service is expected to be operational in time for the festive season.
Cyprus Airways is also enhancing its in-flight entertainment by adding the Dance24 channel, featuring electronic dance music, catering especially to those travelling to Cyprus' popular music festivals and party locales including Ayia Napa.
