Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad Airways has announced an exciting partnership with leading Italian fashion giant Giorgio Armani, bringing an enhanced sleep and dining experience to Etihad Business Class cabins from December 2022.
The stellar new range called ‘The Constellation Collection’ has been inspired by the stars and includes a contemporary dining and turn-down service, which Etihad describes as bringing an experience ‘Beyond Business’ for its guests.
The bespoke new dining service designed by Armani/Casa features ceramics, glassware, cutlery, serving ware and premium textiles with contemporary finishes, mixed materials and embossed patterns.
Circular and oblong tableware in a colour palette of dark green, aquamarine and slate symbolise the surroundings of Abu Dhabi. The multiple textures represent the cultural diversity of the UAE. The elegant and tactile cutlery has patterned handles adding to the Armani/Casa experience.
The new dining service has been designed in line with the airline’s commitment to sustainability and has reduced weight by up to 10 per cent resulting in reduced fuel burn and fewer emissions.
The collection also includes chic, premium-quality bedding featuring the Armani/Casa signature design. Guests will receive a matching pillowcase and duvet set, and those on longer flights can also enjoy the enhanced comfort of the new memory foam mattress.
The new collection will feature on all Etihad Business Class flights, including the Business Class Suites of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet coming in 2023.
