From 1st June, Spain's flag carrier - Iberia - will return to Terminal 5 at London-Heathrow Airport. The move is aimed at streamlining connections for Iberia's guests and enhancing passenger experience overall.
All Iberia flights will arrive and depart from T5. Flights with British Airways, another member of the International Airlines Group (IAG), will do the same - providing a seamless in-terminal journey between the two carriers. American Airlines - with whom Iberia previously shared facilities - will maintain its operations at Terminal 3.
The check-in area for Iberia in Terminal 5 will be situated in Zone B.
There will be six counters available, from B10 to B16, for customers who need to check in their luggage, print their boarding passes, or carry out any other necessary procedures with the Iberia team at the airport. Iberia will also continue to provide assistance for customers with reduced mobility and unaccompanied minors at Terminal 5. Other amenities such as Fast Track and VIP lounges will still be accessible. For those travelling in Business Class and Iberia Plus Oro, Platino, and Infinita cardholders, four VIP lounges will be made available: the First Lounge Terminal, the British Airways Galleries North Club Lounge, the British Airways Galleries South Club Lounge, and the British Airways Galleries Club Lounge.
