Spain's flag carrier has unveiled its new A350-900 Business Class seat which features a sliding privacy door, direct aisle access, longer beds, removal of overhead bins, more personal seat storage and “honeymoon” seats (central two seats) that feature an electronically controlled divider which can be raised or lowered.
As part of its “Next” initiative, Iberia is working on its current A350-900 fleet - updating and improving its cabins. Iberia plans to feature the new Business Class seat on eight refurbished and new Airbus A350-900s over the next two years.
Iberia’s new Business Class cabin is fitted with 31 lie-flat Business Class seats (5 centimetres longer than before) with 28 seats in Premium Economy. All cabins will benefit from Panasonic 4K screens. Premium Economy passengers will enjoy seat headrest “wings” and an IFE remote control with touchscreen navigation panel.
