In a Defining MoMint in the airline's history, JetBlue has revealed its revamped livery, showcasing a vibrant, completely blue design that it says signifies its standing as a revolutionary, reliable brand.
The inaugural aircraft to sport the new livery is an Airbus A321 - actually named “A Defining MoMint" - it also features its Mint - Business Class - offering. As part of its regular aircraft painting cycle, JetBlue intends to update all of its standard liveries.
The refreshed livery design on JetBlue aircraft can be seen on the video below and features:
1. A blue fuselage embodying the company's namesake colour
2. Revitalised and extended iconic tailfin patterns to include the body and underbelly of the plane
3. An upsized JetBlue logo
4. Brightly coloured winglets with a new palette of accent colours
5. The aircraft’s pattern and the JetBlue logo featured underneath, making it instantly noticeable to aviation enthusiasts.
The lively, colorful elements of the new livery design are also mirrored in JetBlue's updated visual brand identity, which was launched on digital platforms and social media earlier this year. As the first brand refresh in ten years, the new colours and designs project a more “contemporary, joyful, and digital-first appearance”.
This is the first complete overhaul of JetBlue’s livery design. Passengers can expect more fresh livery designs with updated tailfin patterns later this year.
