KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has launched its upgraded World Business Class - with wider seats and equipped with a sliding door. Each passenger in the cabin has direct access to the aisle.
Passengers are given more control over their comfort with personal adjustment options and user-friendly functions, such as adjustable lower-back support and a relax setting with a gentle back-massage feature.
The seats can be fully reclined to create a comfortable bed of 198 centimetres in length. Multiple charging outlets, including wireless charging options, are readily accessible and easy to locate.
Passengers have personal lockable compartments with built-in mirrors for storing belongings. The seat design also includes a recessed bottle holder to secure water bottles on the tabletop, even in turbulent conditions.
For the new World Business Class, KLM opted for a 1-2-1 configuratiopn, allowing all passengers direct access to the aisle. The entire KLM Boeing 777-300 and 200 fleet will be equipped with the new World Business Class seats, along with the latest Premium Comfort cabin. The overhaul is set to be completed within the next year.
