Kuwait's national carrier has unveiled a raft of initiatives for 2023 under the banner - The Reveal. There are new lounges, cabins, home check-in and limousine services, crew uniforms, menus, aircraft and routes.
The airline currently flies 14 A320s, five A330-200s, four Airbus A330-800s and ten Boeing 777-300ERs. It is expected that all A330-200 & A320neo aircraft will be retired this year. The Gulf carrier is awaiting delivery of seven A330-900s, two Airbus A320eos, nine A321neos, and two A350-900s.
A new Business Class suite - Elite - will appear on the A330-900neo. Its expected that the Elite will feature sliding privacy doors. The airline is launching a new Premium Economy cabin - called Comfort Plus. It will be the second airline in the Gulf region to offer Premium Economy - after Emirates. There will also be a fleet-wide upgrade in Wi-Fi and improved food & beverage offerings.
Destinations including Athens, Berlin, Budapest and a host of cities in Saudi Arabia have been added to the airline's roster.
On the ground, a new Elite lounge - caters for long haul passengers at Kuwait International Airport. A home-to-airport limousine service will be offered to both Business and First Class passengers along with ability to check-in and print boarding passes from your office or home.
In collaboration with the Italian fashion house Ettore Bilotta, Kuwait Airways crew will sport a new unform from May this year. Milan-based Bilotta has designed uniforms for Etihad and Italy's own national carrier ITA.
