Lufthansa has unveiled an upgrade to its food & beverage offerings.
The airline has announced an enhanced long-haul flight Business Class experience, emphasising the fusion of culinary excellence, German bread heritage, and prestigious collaborations including the Lufthansa Aperitif Avionic crafted in partnership with Ziegler.
Germany has a rich bread culture - indeed a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage - and each roll served onboard is filled with natural ingredients and served with artisanal butter and premium olive oil. These breads promise a fresh and additive-free indulgence, with a new variety introduced quarterly.
Business Class travellers can also now sup the “Avionic” - a signature drink created by the renowned Ziegler distillery in collaboration with Frankfurt's celebrated bar connoisseur Sven Riebel. This peach-infused concoction, accentuated with wild meadow herbs is served alongside nuts as a pre-flight welcome treat.
New creations extend further with the introduction of a vegetarian amuse-bouche, ranging from antipasti to sushi. Fresh fruit additions to the dessert menu and a modular snack selection cater are now also on the menu.
From June onwards, every passenger will receive a bespoke box of Lindt chocolates as an exclusive parting gift! Lindt - part of Lindt & Sprüngli - is a Swiss chocolatier. SWISS is a member airline of the Lufthansa Group - along with Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings.
