Star Alliance, the largest global airline group, has unveiled its latest - second - lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
The lounge will cater to First and Business Class flyers, as well as Star Alliance Gold members on flights departing from Terminal 1's gates 10 to 38. Eligible members from United Club and Air Canada Maple Leaf Club can avail its services.
Nestled in the terminal's latest section, just beyond security and immigration, this expansive lounge can host over 300 guests within its 1,300 square metre space.
The lounge's vast glass facade provides scenic runway vistas and bathes the space in sunlight, amplifying its expansiveness. The design beautifully marries contemporary traveler needs with local Parisian flair. The ambiance is accentuated by Parisian-inspired interiors, captivating black and white Eiffel Tower images, and handpicked artworks by French creators.
Notable amenities include a beautifully crafted Welcome Bar with assorted drinks, a Wine Bar in collaboration with renowned vintner Gerard Bertrand, and a diverse global Tea Salon. Business patrons will appreciate private workspaces and serene corners scattered throughout.
Offering a myriad of experiences, visitors can relax in the brightly lit Winter Garden, an expansive outdoor courtyard, or rejuvenate in the upscale shower suites.
Now, Terminal 1 boasts two Star Alliance lounges. The earlier lounge, revamped in 2019 and situated before security on level 10, will cater to travelers on intra-Schengen flights from gates 50 to 78 and various lounge program members departing from all gates.
Currently, 20 Star Alliance airlines operate out of Paris – CDG, with 464 weekly flights to 34 global destinations across 22 nations.
