Austrian Airlines has introduced an enhanced long-haul inflight dining experience, accompanied by their new slogan “Austria's Flair in the Air”.
The new dining concept, called 'Tastefully Austrian" - which aims to reflect the essence of Austrian hospitality and the feeling of being at home - includes a bar snack along with the welcome drink in Business Class. Additionally, the meal selection has been expanded to include soup, which has been included due to its popularity. Passengers can now choose from two international main courses, along with a signature Austrian dish.
For premium passengers, there is an added Viennese coffee house service that includes dessert, as well as a separate cheese trolley for a cheese selection.
These improvements have been introduced following the reintroduction of Austrian Airlines' Flying Chefs, who are employed by DO & CO and make the inflight dining experience that little bit more special.
Passengers in Premium Economy will also enjoy the benefits of the new offerings. They will enjoy new recipes and creations, presented in three or four-course menus with two main course options. Additionally, all long-haul flights will include a light dish or a "small breakfast" option for these passengers.
