Virgin Atlantic has teamed up with Sapling Spirits to introduce enviromentally-friendly vodka bottles on 38 Virgin Atlantic routes.
Sapling Spirits, known for its climate-positive approach, has introduced an innovative 5cl aluminium bottle for its “Climate Positive” vodka - distilled in London and made entirely from British ingredients.
This initiative offers Premium passengers a greener alternative, significantly reducing the airline's reliance on glass and plastic.
The partnership underscores Sapling's dedication to environmental causes,. The brand's Raspberry & Hibiscus Vodka - crafted from aesthetically imperfect, yet perfectly tasty, 'wonky raspberries' - is already a hit in Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class. It is a key ingredient in its Raspberry Fizz cocktail.
This new collaboration - an ambitious move toward environmental stewardship - is also set to see the planting of over 20,000 trees across the globe in 2024, underscoring a commitment to eco-friendly initiatives.
