Den 1. december indledte Cathay Pacific et samarbejde med Qatar Airways hvilket indebærer at man kan rejse på en Cathay Pacific-billet fra Stockholm, Oslo og København med Qatar Airways via Doha og videre til Hong Kong samt resten af Asien og Oceanien. Samarbejdet omfatter også ruterne fra Doha til Istanbul, Wien, Zagreb og Budapest.
