Marriott has announced the opening of the AC Hotel Marseille Velodrome, the design-led lifestyle brand’s fifth in France.

Located in the heart of the city's business district, the 126-room hotel is 30 minutes from the International Marseille Provence airport and 10 minutes from the Saint Charles train station. Marriott said the new hotel “is set to bring purposeful design and an unpretentious style” to Marseille's recently revitalised Prado area.

Lobby bar According to Mariott, the hotel reflects the contemporary architecture of the city with rooms that incorporate an urban colour-scheme with hints of bright colour, clean lines and hardwood floors. Housed within the hotel is the 'Oh Massalia' restaurant - serving Mediterranean cuisine with fresh, local produce at lunch and dinnertime.

Meeting room The hotel also features one meeting space for up to 12 people and free WiFi throughout. AC Hotel Marseille Velodrome joins AC Hotel Ambassadeur Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, AC Hotel Nice, AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot and AC Hotel Paris Le Bourget in France.
