Accorhotels has opened two new Mercure hotels in Poland

Two former Orbis hotel on the Baltic coast have now been taken over by Accorhotels to become part of the Mercure chain as Mercure Gdynia Centre and Mercure Gdansk Posejdon.

Mercure Gdansk Posejdon

is only 100 metres from the beach and is not far from the city centre. The hotel has used the local architecture of Gdańsk townhouses as the inspiration for its design. Warm amber tones have been used throughout the hotel, with reference to the trade history of Amber, also known as Baltic Gold. The hotel has 151 rooms.

Mercure Gdynia Centre

is located in the centre of Gdynia, also just 100 metres from the beach. The hotel has 204 rooms decorated in the theme of the Gdynia Film Festival and there are references to the film industry’s most iconic settings throughout the hotel. The lobby is inspired by Poland's legendary yacht "Dar Pomorza".
