Air India formally Star Alliance member next month

Air India will formally become the 27th member of the Star Alliance on July 11th 2014. 

The airline will add 400 daily flights, to 35 new destinations in India, to the Star Alliance Global network. They are the first member airline on the indian subcontinent. Air India flies to 60 domestic destinations and 31 international destinations in 19 countries within Australia, Asia, Europe and North America. The fleet consists of more than 90 aircraft, including the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
