For the second consecutive year, Latvian airline airBaltic has been ranked as the most punctual airline by the OAG analysts, who tracked over 50 million flights during 2015.

airBaltic, who was the first airline in Europe to introduce on-time arrival guarantee in early 2009, achieved a punctuality rating of 94.4%, meaning more than 9 out of 10 airBaltic flights arrived on-time. airBaltic is followed in the top 10 by Copa Airlines, Azul, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Finnair, TAM, Austrian Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, LOT. Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “Our customers can rely on a consistently punctual service. We are a very proud team at

airBaltic

to have achieved this result for the second year in a row, especially since we see fewer European carriers in the TOP10 ranking compared to a year ago.” John Grant, executive vice president, OAG says: “A really big congratulations to everyone at airBaltic; winning once is great, to do it for two consecutive years in our industry is a fantastic achievement and testament to the management team and all employees of the company.” Monarch Airlines is the only UK airline to make the top 20 list, placing 14th.
