Since 1993, the blue, yellow and red logo has graced just over 4100 Best Western hotels, but after 22 years the company have decided to update its classic logo to represent a new, modern era for the largest independently owned and managed hotel chain in Great Britain. The rebranding coincides with plans to add five-star hotels to the upper end of its portfolio, BW Premier Collection, though details are yet to be revealed.

New logos have been launched for three of the group’s brands - Best Western, Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier. The decision was made to update the design to appeal to a wider customer base and reflect the company's development.

A total of ten different logos have been used since 1948, and we are now on the 11th. - “Now we begin a new era, with a new brand that clearly shows what we stand for and offer, and also has a modern look," said David Kong, President and CEO of Best Western Hotels & Resorts.

Best Western logos throughout the years Best Western Hotels & Resorts includes the following brands: Best Western, Best Western Plus, Best Western Plus Executive Residency, Best Western Premier, Vib and BW Premier Collection, with new boutique hotel brand Glo announced this week at the group’s annual convention. A total of ten different logos have been used since 1948, and we are now on the 11th.
