British Airways has announced it will deploy its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, complete with a
, to Dubai from October 2016.
The airline said in a statement that new 787-9s will be rolled out across a number of routes in 2016, including Newark, Narita, Jeddah, Houston, Mumbai, Boston and Dubai, with exact dates being announced in due course.
British Airways' First cabin on board new B787-9 The airline also announced it would deploy the B787-9 between Heathrow and Shanghai, as well as adding an additional three flights a week on the route from February 20, 2016.
British Airways received their first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in September
and currently flies the aircraft to Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Delhi and Kuala Lumpur, and will operate flights to Austin from February 5 and San Jose from May 4, 2016.

on board the airline’s 787-9s has just eight seats, compared to the 14 seats available on other British Airways long-haul aircraft, “giving even more exclusivity and privacy to customers,” according to the British airline. The new First suites have been designed based on feedback from First customers.
