British Airways’ First Class customers can soon sip their champagne in new premium glassware from Devon-based specialists Dartington Crystal.

A new selection of specially commissioned glassware - which includes a tumbler, brandy glass, wine glass, champagne flute and a deep crimson red water glass - will soon be introduced on board British Airways’ First cabin.

Commenting on the partnership, Troy Warfield, British Airways’ director of customer experience, said: “Dartington Crystal was the clear favourite to provide us with the best quality and most durable glass for our customers flying in First. As a premium producer of crystal we’re thrilled to have Dartington Crystal on board, giving our First customers the best of British glasses to drink from, no matter where they fly in the world.” Each of the new glasses featured in First is individually stamped with both the British Airways speed marque and the Dartington name.
