British Airways to serve British wine on-board

The airline will serve the West Sussex wine to those in the First Class cabin to/from the USA throughout August. "It's anticipated to be a hit thanks to its fragrant aromas of rose, jasmine and pears which follow through onto the palate with a creamy texture and hints of spice and honey,” said BA in a statement. Additionally, First and Club World cabins and the airline’s domestic lounges will serve Fever-Tree Indian and Naturally Light Tonic Waters, a favourite tonic for premium gin and vodka drinkers. Colin Talbot, British Airways’ head of catering, said: “Our customers have very discerning tastes and we work hard to bring them the best in food and drink when they fly with British Airways. We're always particularly pleased when we can support British business too, so the introduction of Bolney Estate Pinot Gris and Fever-Tree tonic water is a real coup for our customers and us."
