Carlson Rezidor opens new hotel in Cape Town - Radisson Blu Le Vendome Cape Town

Carlson Rezidor has recently opened another new hotel in the popular holiday town of Cape Town in South Africa. The Radisson Blu Le Vendome Hotel is regarded as the company’s flagship hotel and is centrally located in Cape Town, within walking distance to the Sea Point Promenade and the V & A Waterfront, close to shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel has 143 rooms, including 9 suites, with views of Lion's Head, Signal Hill, Table Mountain or the Atlantic Ocean. For those who want something to eat or drink, there are three options - ‘La Mer Restaurant and Grill' serves South African cuisine with international influences, while ‘Cpoint Bar and Lounge’ serves wines and liquors. At ‘#add Restaurant and Pool’, one can order a variety of cocktails. The hotel also has a conference area with space for 220 people which can be divided into three separate rooms. Radisson Blu Le Vendome is the fourth Carlson Rezidor hotel in Cape Town. Carlson Rezidor now has a total of 562 rooms in the city. As recently as October 2014, the Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Newlands opened, and in 2016, one of the first Radisson Red-hotels will open in Cape Town. This is Carlson Rezidor's newest hotel brand and is targeted at the lifestyle conscious traveller.
