Cathay Pacific launches four-times weekly service to Dusseldorf

Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific has launched a four-times weekly service to Dusseldorf, deploying a four-class Boeing B777-300ER on the route. Services began on September 1.

Prior to the premiere departure of the first Cathay Pacific flight from Düsseldorf to Hong Kong, a ceremony was held at the boarding gate in Düsseldorf to celebrate the occasion. Passengers were treated to a dance performance, followed by ribbon and cake cutting led by Cathay Pacific Country Manager Germany and Eastern Europe, Mr Tony Sham. The flight departed Düsseldorf Airport at 13:20 with a traditional water cannon salute, and arrived safely in Hong Kong at 06:22 the next morning.

Officiating guests at gate ceremony The route operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight number CX375 departs Hong Kong at 00.50 and arrives in Dusseldorf at 06.40. In the opposite direction, flight CX376 departs Dusseldorf at 12.35, arriving in Hong Kong at 06.55 the next day. The schedule will adapt slightly in the winter, with flights departing Hong Kong at 00.50 and arriving in Dusseldorf at 0715. The return will depart Dusseldorf at 13.20 and arrive in Hong Kong at 06.35 the next day.
