Cathay Pacific has unveiled its revamped First and Business Class Lounge at London Heathrow’s Terminal 3.

Set to officially open on December 7th, the redesigned lounge features separate First and Business Class areas, dining options, a full-service bar, and eight shower suites.

With the airline’s “Life Well Travelled” ethos in mind, the stylish lounge was designed by renowned London-based design studio Studioilse, led by Ilse Crawford. Echoes of the contemporary Asian aesthetics of Cathay Pacific’s acclaimed lounges at Hong Kong International Airport are noticeable.

At 1,200 square metres, the new London lounge is 30 per cent larger than its predecessor.  Floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the airport’s apron and northerly runway, whilst the lounge offers a calming environment and a myriad of amenities.

In the First Class section, passengers sit down and dine at The Dining Room, which offers table service with freshly prepared dishes made-to-order by the chef. There is also The Pantry, where visitors can enjoy grab and go delicacies with items changing throughout the day.

The Business Class area, meanwhile, features Cathay Pacific’s signature Noodle Bar; The Food Hall, serving range of Western and international dishes, including traditional British fare; and a full-service bar.

The lounge is further equipped with bespoke Solo Chairs, eight shower suites, and The Bureau - a quiet space for working.

The Heathrow refurbishment follows the airline’s other recent lounge openings in Bangkok, Haneda (Tokyo), Manila, Taipei and Vancouver.
