Just like the summer 2014, American airline, Delta Airlines, have announced that they will again operate a seasonal route from Arlanda to New York JFK. The maiden flight will be June 2nd, and for the first two weeks there will be four flights per week, later increasing to five flights per week. Copenhagen will also return as a seasonal route.

The route will be operated using a newly renovated Boeing 757 with three classes onboard - Business Class (Delta One), Premium Economy (Delta Comfort +) and Economy Class (Delta Main Cabin).

Business Class, Delta One

(formerly BusinessElite) is one of Delta's three new Business Class products and consists of 16 seats, 4 rows in a 2-2 configuration. When the seat is reclined it becomes completely horizontal and all passengers receive a duvet and pillow from the hotel chain Westin and its ‘Westin Heavenly’ concept.

Premium Economy, Delta Comfort +

(former Economy Comfort) is located in the front part of the economy class cabin and offers 4 inches (10 cm) more legroom and a seat that can be reclined 50 percent more than the seat in regular economy class. The configuration is 3-3, 6 seats in width. The number of rows varies slightly between aircraft, but in most cases it seems to be 4-5 rows.

Economy Class, now known as "Main Cabin"

(former Economy Class) consists of more than 130 seats, 6 seats across in a 3-3 configuration. Each seat has its own screen with video on demand. The Main Cabin includes beer and wine with dinner. The Stockholm-New York route starts June 2, with departures on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. From Stockholm, it will be an afternoon departure at 13:25 or 14:10. From June 15 there will also be a departure on Fridays. In the opposite direction, the flight departs New York at 21:30 or 22:18 (depending on day of week) with arrival in Stockholm at lunch time. On June 3, Delta will also open the route between Copenhagen and New York, also with a Boeing 757. The route will operate five days a week, departing from Copenhagen at 08.30 and from New York JFK at 16.40. The routes are flown in cooperation with KLM (Stockholm-New York) and Air France (Copenhagen-New York).
