Emirates just announced that the Dubai - Copenhagen route will be flown with the Airbus A380 from December 1st of this year. The A380 is the largest passenger airline in the world and will carry more than 600 passengers in the configuration Emirates offers on this route. That means only Business Class and Economy Class, no First Class or the legendary inflight showers for the Danes. This also means that Emirates becomes the first airline to offer A380 flights to Scandinavia. Copenhagen Airport is expanding its C-finger used for non-Schengen flights to accomodate the huge airliner.
