Emirates increases frequency to Jeddah

Emirates will add four additional weekly flights to Jeddah, starting on December 14.

The increase will see Emirates fly to the Saudi Arabian city from its hub in Dubai 3 times per day and 21 times per week. All flights will be operated by a three-class A380 aircraft. The new service are in response to growing demand for travel between UAE and Saudi arabia. “Saudi Arabia is a major market for Emirates and its importance is reflected by the fact that we will now operate three flights a day to Jeddah with our popular A380 aircraft. This is tremendous news for both our business and leisure customers and highlights our commitment to providing travellers in Jeddah, with not only the very latest in aircraft innovations, but also increased connectivity,” said Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, Emirates’ Divisional Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations West. The new services will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flight EK801 will depart Dubai at 1.40 and arrive in Jeddah at 3.40 the same day. The return flight, EK802, will depart Jeddah at 5.40, arriving in Dubai at 9.30 the same day. Emirates currently serves Saudi Arabia with 63 weekly flights to four destination, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Al Medinah al Munawarah.
