Emirates opens access to First and Business lounges at Dubai - for a fee

Emirates is giving guests of its Skywards loyalty programme members the opportunity to use its Premium Lounge at Dubai International Airport, regardless of their class of travel.

For a “minimal fee” (approximately £80 for Emirates’ Business Class and £160 for Emirates’ First Class lounges), customers can enjoy lounge access for up to four hours.

Dubai International Airport has seven Emirates lounges within three terminals: A, B and C. In each terminal is both an Emirates First Class Lounge and at least one Business Class Lounge.

The Emirates Business Class lounge in Concourse B recently underwent an

extensive upgrade

. It features a full range of gourmet cuisine - prepared on-site by Emirates chefs – a complimentary full bar service, shower facilities, a health spa, wine cellar, and a dedicated children’s play area.

The newly refurbished lounge also offers three distinct concept areas: a barista experience in partnership with Costa Coffee; a Health hub with Voss water featuring healthier food and beverage options; and an exclusive first-of-its-kind Moët & Chandon champagne lounge designed for Emirates, all of which are complimentary for guests.

Additionally, Business Class customers can upgrade to First Class lounge access for a fee of £80.

Shoe-shine at Emirates' First Class Lounge in Concourse A, DXB Emirates’ First Class lounge in Concourse A is possibly the finest of the bunch, offering a premium cigar lounge, a la carte dining, and shoe shining services – all complimentary for guests once inside. Currently, First and Business Class customers as well as Silver, Gold and Platinum Skywards members receive complimentary access to the lounges in Dubai.
