The Gulf airline is to replace the B777-300ER that currently operates its daily Dubai-Singapore-Melbourne service with a three-class A380 from March 1 next year.
It will be Emirates’ sixth daily A380 service to Australia and second daily service to Singapore. Flight EK404 will depart Dubai at 09.30, arriving in Singapore at 20.45. It will then depart Singapore at 22.25, arriving in Melbourne at 08.50 the next day. Return flight EK405 departs Melbourne at 19.00, arriving in Singapore at 23.35. It will then depart Singapore at 01.20 the next day and arrive in Dubai at 04.50. Emirates currently fly to Melbourne three-times daily, two departures with a B777-300ER and one direct departure with an A380.
