Etihad Airways deploys Boeing 787 to five new destinations 

The launch of the new destinations will coincide with the delivery of five new 787-9s over a seven-month period, beginning May next year. These 299-seat Dreamliners will replace the existing aircraft on daily services to Dusseldorf, Perth, Shanghai, Istanbul and Johannesburg. All routes are from the airline’s Abu Dhabi hub.

Economy Smart on Etihad's Boeing 787 Dreamliner Etihad’s 787-9s house 28 Business Studios - each with a fully flat bed of up to 80.5 inches - and 271 Economy Smart Seats. The on-board ‘Facets of Abu Dhabi’ design concept is inspired by contemporary modern Arabian design and features Poltrona Frau leather upholstery. The aircraft also has full mobile and Wi-Fi service, and USB and power sockets at every seat.
