Etihad Airways have opened an arrivals lounge in Abu Dhabi - with barber and clothes steaming service

For the first time, an arrivals lounge is now offered at Abu Dhabi airport, available to travellers who arrived Etihad Airways in either business or first class. The lounge offers the opportunity to take a shower, get something to eat, as well as more innovative concepts such as, 'SHAVE', a proper shave by a barber, and a steam cleaning service for your clothes.

The lounge is located in the arrivals hall, immediately after customs, and has a design that is largely reminiscent of other Etihad lounges, such as the lounge in Paris. The lounge has a shower section, with ten shower units, and the opportunity to have your clothes steam cleaned while you shower and delivered back to you within ten minutes. Those who desire a shave can get this for free by one of the lounge's barbers in conjunction with the 'SHAVE' concept. If you want to unwind and recharge for the day, there is a relaxation area with comfortable chairs, multiple TVs and newspapers, magazines and books. Cafe-style food is also served, including breakfast in the morning with hot and cold beverages, and canapés, snacks, and sweets during the rest of the day. If you want to work in the lounge, there is a business center with Apple computers, printers and Wifi.
