From November 23, the Gulf airline will reduce its up to 19-times weekly service between Abu Dhabi and Heathrow to up to 12-times weekly. During the peak travel season over Christmas and New Year, Etihad will operate additional A380 flights on a one-off basis. It would seem that an A380 will fly to New York JFK at the expense of Heathrow as Etihad launch its A380 service to JFK on the same day, November 23.
