Eurowings yesterday launched its first flights to Barcelona and London, and today to Palma de Mallorca. All routes are from Vienna.

The new service to London Stansted was officially inaugurated yesterday with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring management from Eurowings, including Michael Knitter, COO of Eurowings, and Max Kownatzki, Managing Director of Eurowings Europe. The new routes will initially be served by ‘Eurowings Germany’ Airbus A320-200 aircraft. From March 2016, ‘Eurowings Europe’ will commence operations. Eurowings’ 2016 summer schedule also includes new routes from Vienna to Alicante and Valencia in Spain, to Bastia on the French island of Corsica, and to Faro in Portugal. These routes will be served by two Eurowings Europe Airbus A320-200s. Eurowings Europe plan to operate up to 20 aircraft by December 2017.
