Finnair continues to expand its network in Asia with two new destinations from Helsinki for the 2016 summer timetable - Fukuoka in Japan and Guangzhou in China.
During may 2016, there will be three non-stop flights per week to Fukuoka, one of Japan's largest cities, and between May 6 and October 29, 2016, there will be four non-stop flights per week to Guangzhou, China's third largest city with 13 million inhabitants. Thus, Finnair now serves six destinations in China and four destinations in Japan direct from Helsinki. This makes Finnair the only airline in Europe to serve four cities in Japan. Both destinations will be served with Finnair’s Airbus A330 aircraft, in a two class (economy and business) configuration. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flight AY67 will depart Helsinki at 17.00, arriving in Guangzhou at 07.30. In the opposite direction, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flight AY68 will depart Guangzhou at 10.00 and arrive in Helsinki at 15.00. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flight AY75 will depart Helsinki at 16.30, arriving in Fukuoka at 08.00. In the opposite direction, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flight AY76 will depart Fukuoka at 09.30 and arrive in Helsinki at 13.55.
