First Hilton hotel to open in London since 2006

The hotel was expected to open this month but is currently accepting booking from october 15. A ground floor restaurant and bar - OXBO Bankside and The Distillery- are set to be launched in conjunction. Located in London’s Bankside, the hotel is easily accessible from Waterloo and boasts direct connections to London Gatwick. The hotel is also within close range of the Tate Modern, The River Thames, Borough Market, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Financial District. The 292-room Hilton London Bankside offers over 1,000 square metres of event space made up of nine meeting rooms and the ‘Bankside Ballroom’, which can accommodate up to 700 guests.

OXBO provides a naturally lively environment with innovative and adventurous cuisine highlighting grill classics, from day to night.

- The Distillery is Bankside's destination Bar, where hotel guests, local business people and residents choose to enjoy great bites and excellent drinks in a vibrant, engaging and sophisticated setting, no matter what time of day. Located on the site of Stevenson & Howell’s Standard Works, a renowned essence factory in 1800s, The Distillery pays homage to its heritage, serving a range of signature cocktails incorporating homemade aromatics, infusions and bitters. The bar will also serve a range of sharing platters and bar snacks.
