Seoul’s Incheon International Airport has been given the all clear by the Korean Government to develop and build a huge, first-of-its-kind integrated resort at the airport.

The US$5 billion multi-phase development project is expected to include a three-tower luxury hotel complex; over 20,000 square metres of luxury retail, food and beverage concepts; a cosmetics and beauty hub; the largest entertainment arena in South Korea; a Paramount Studios-themed amusement park; Eco Adventure Park; and a Casino. It will be the first and only destination resort in the world with an adjacent private air terminal. Mr. Chung Il-young, CEO of the Incheon International Airport Corporation noted, “We deeply appreciate the careful review that the Korean Government has conducted on this bold new initiative for tourism in Korea. Its selection of the Inspire project at IBC-II is wonderful news for the Incheon region and will serve as a catalyst for growth in the airport development zone for years to come.”
