The British airline, Flybe, has decided to wind down their current frequent flyer program, Rewards4all, and will switch to Avios, the same rewards program that airlines such as British Airways and Iberia are using. The change will take place on October 27th. From October 10th, Rewards4all will be closed to new members. It will still be possible for existing members to earn points until January 9th 2015, and spend points until March 31st 2015 for flights booked and departing by October 24th 2015 at the latest. It will not be possible to transfer points from Rewards4all to Avios, the two rewards programs will be managed completely separate. The advantage of the switch to Avios will be the opportunity to earn points on airlines such as British Airways and Iberia, as well as a number of hotel chains and other popuar companies including Tesco and Shell.
