The aircraft will have only just left the runway before it comes time to prepare for landing. On April 1st, FlyNiki will open a route between the Austrian capital Vienna and the Slovakian capital Bratislava, a distance of nearly 50km. Flight time is calculated to be 25 minutes, and some days only 20 minutes.
The line will be operated with an Embraer 190, with a departure in each direction six days a week. From Bratislava, there will be a morning departure Monday-Saturday, with a departure time of 8:15am or 10:25am. From Vienna, there will be an evening flight with a departure time of 5:50pm every day except Saturdays.
FlyNiki is a subsidiary of Air Berlin and thus a member of the One World Alliance. How many points the flight will provide, however, is not yet clear.
