From May 2015, four new routes will be added to the BA network, all departing from London Heathrow. They are four popular holiday destinations - Corfu, Kos, Olbia and Split. The route,
London Heathrow-Corfu
, will start on 1st May 2015 and will operate four flights a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Departure times are slightly different each day, but departures from London are in the morning and departures from Corfu are in the afternoon.
London Heathrow-Kos
starts 2nd May 2015 and will operate two flights per week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with a morning departure from London and an afternoon departure from Kos. The
London Heathrow-Olbia
route will also start 2nd May 2015 and will operate two flights per week, with a morning departure from Heathrow on Wednesdays and a return from Olbia at lunch time. On Saturdays, there will be an afternoon departure from Heathrow with return a from Olbia in the evening. Finally,
London Heathrow-Split
commences 3rd May 2015 with two flights per week. On Wednesdays, there will be a morning departure from Heathrow with the return departing at lunchtime from Split, and on Sundays, an early afternoon departure from London with a late afternoon return from Split. All routes will be operated by an Airbus A319. Usually, most holiday-related destinations are operated from Gatwick, but the fact they depart from Heathrow means increased opportunities to connect to and from Scandinavia on primarily afternoon departures.
