Passengers at Germany’s largest aviation hub, Frankfurt Airport, can now enjoy Fraport’s new “Check-In to Gate Service”.

Passengers will be picked up at a pre-arranged meeting point in the terminal by a trained service assistant who will then take care of their bags and the check-in process for them. Next, the service assistant escorts the passengers through a separate security checkpoint and passport control. A chauffeured luxury limousine is also on stand-by to take passengers across the apron directly to their departure gate. Fraport's service costs 85 euros (£60) for up to four persons travelling on the same flight. Anyone can take advantage of FRA’s Check-In to Gate Service, regardless of airline and class. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours before departing from Frankfurt. Bookings can be made online. The Check-In to Gate Service at Frankfurt Airport is part of the “Great to have you here!” concept, with the aim to improve the travel experience at the airport. Other services under this concept include the Frankfurt Airport App 2.0 and free Wi-Fi offered throughout the terminals.
