Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol opens for business

The 433-room hotel replaces the previous Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, which opened in 1972 and closed its doors last month.

Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Hotel - Atrium The new hotel has been designed by Dutch architects Mecanoo and has a distinct cubic design that features a 42-metre high glazed roof. The interior of the hotel features contemporary Dutch influences that “give every space an authentic and local touch,”as well as a number of innovations and art pieces by Spanish artist Israel Páez.

Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Hotel - Reception The hotel is the largest conference hotel near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, boasting 23 flexible meeting spaces, including a ballroom with a capacity of up to 640 guests. The hotel’s 433 rooms include 12 suites - with a separate living room, large bathroom and extensive work area - and 96 Executive rooms. Guests staying in Executive rooms are granted access to the Executive Lounge.

Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Hotel - Deluxe room A lobby and cocktail bar offer a large selection of gins and jenevers (Dutch gin), while The Bowery restaurant features three live cooking stations and offers authentic grill and Asian dishes. The Vine Room has seating for up to 20 guests and serves as a private, intimate event space.
