Hilton has opened its first hotel in Fiji
Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa is the name of Hilton's latest addition in Oceania, the 21st in the region and the first Hilton in Fiji. The hotel is built in a resort style and is itself not new, but is now becoming part of Hilton’s global hotel chain.
The hotel is located on Denarau Island, 20 minutes from the international airport in Nadi which has direct flights to Asia, USA and Australia. The hotel has 271 rooms and is situated directly on the beach. Other facilities include three restaurants, a bar, spa, fitness centre, seven pool areas and organised water activities. Additionally, in late 2015, the hotel will open a new conference centre with facilities for meetings and events. A new bar and restaurant concepts are also planned. Hilton Fiji Beach Resort is Hilton's first venture in Fiji and will shortly be followed by another new hotel - Doubletree Resort by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island. The hotel will be 30 minutes from the airport in Nadi and have 123 rooms.
