On Wednesday, in front of 1900 global partners, Hilton CEO Christopher J. Nassette launched the latest addition to the Hilton portfolio, Canopy by Hilton. It is a new hotel brand within the Hilton group aimed at attracting lifestyle conscious travellers, of both leisure and business. The first hotel is expected to open in 2015.
There are mainly four main elements that define Canopy by Hilton: -
Great neighbourhoods:
Canopy by Hilton will become an attractive reflection of the neighbourhood through design, food, beverage, art and local knowledge. -
Comfort and Design:
An open, welcoming lobby, and warm, inviting, comfortable rooms. -
More value included in the price:
Important things like Wifi access and breakfast are included in the price, along with extras, for example, a local welcome gift and an evening tasting of beer, wine or spirits. -
A positive service culture:
With a ‘Positively Yours’ service concept, staff will enthusiastically stand for a certain level of service and hospitality in the hotel. - Canopy by Hilton will give more choice and control to our hotel guests than ever before,
from a mobile straight-to-room arrival, to surprising extras throughout each stay
, says Jim Holthouser, Executive Vice President, Global Brands, Hilton Worldwide. Canopy by Hilton will open primarily in the United States, in SE Washington, Portland and Miami, as well as in London, UK. There is still no word as to where the hotel in London will be located.
