Hilton to open first Conrad hotel in India

Hilton Worldwide will open its first Conrad branded property in Pune, India next year.

Opening May 1, 2016, the 310-room Conrad Pune will be located in the heart of Pune’s central business district, close to shopping, dining and entertainment options. The Art Deco-style hotel will offer a 24-hour business centre, executive lounge, a number of meeting and event spaces, a 780-square metre ballroom and four boardrooms. Recreational facilities will include an outdoor swimming pool and pool bar, fitness centre, full-service spa and a salon, whilst the hotel will also house three restaurants and a cocktail bar. "Pune is a key gateway destination and we are delighted to establish our brand's presence in India, one of the key strategic growth markets for Hilton Worldwide, starting with this wonderful city," said John TA Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands, Hilton Worldwide.
