Hilton to open hotel at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport in the autumn

This autumn, a new hotel will open its gates at Schiphol airport outside Amsterdam - Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Hotel. The hotel is basically ready, just some final details need to be attended to in what Hilton describes as a diamond in their portfolio. The hotel will have 433 rooms, along with 1,700 square metres of event and meeting space, meaning the hotel is fully capable of accommodating large conferences, meetings and events. The conference centre is on the first and second floor of the hotel and will become the largest at the airport. Hilton emphasise the flexibility and opportunities to change and divide the event space up, making it possible to host a wide variety of events. There are a total of 23 different meeting rooms, with the largest accommodating up to 640 guests. The hotel is offering a special deal for those making an early booking for the conference centre. The hotel will also house a bar and restaurant, a spa with a Hammam steam room, and a private garage with 138 parking spaces. Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is located in the airport area, within walking distance from the terminals. Dutch architectural firm Mecanoo Architects are responsible for the design.
